- 2007 Policy Forum - Idaho Voices for Children brought together over 100 people - Voices members, community leaders and legislators - to talk about Idaho's children and to recommend issues that Idaho Voices should address in the 2008 legislative session
- State Children's Health Insurance Plan (SCHIP) - Due in part to concern expressed at the Policy Forum about plans to identify SCHIP as Medicaid, plans were halted. The proposed new name has not been announced.
- Grant Award - At the end of 2006, Idaho Voices received a three-year capacity-building grant from the Paul Allen Foundation. This grant allowed us to hire our first employee to support our work on development of a school readiness agenda in Idaho, as well as other issues affecting the health, safety, and education of children.
